Perfect will it be in the hands of nature lovers, sports enthusiasts and handier is this binocular with its light weight feature. The highlights of this product are its compact and light weight design which canon has ever developed. More appealing is its image stabilising ability with the tilt mechanism technology embedded in this binocular. This IS works by keeping the viewing subject very steady and corrects the movements like the handshake. Further more this tilt mechanism helps in reducing the chromatic aberration and smearing of the colour to give a clearer view of the image.

Canon 8×25 IS Compact Binocular uses minimum battery power as the battery is required only when the image stabiliser is switched on. This button which activates the IS in this model is present in the center which allows easy access to both left and right handed users. However the battery allows 6 hours of operation.
The magnification power of Canon 8×25 Image Stabilizer Binocular is 8 times of the actual size with an objective diameter of 25mm it finds itself in place for most terrestrial observation and is not suitable for celestial viewing. In any case it does not consist of rubber coating and water resistant features are absent hence not suitable for water sports and mountaineering.
This compact binocular gives a field of view at 1000 metres to 115 metres and the closest focusing distance is 3.5 metres which is the least when compared to the other models of Canon. The eye relief is stated as 13.5 mm which comforts the eye to certain extend for the spectacle users. The lens embedded is doublet field flattener and is not coated. Although functions with battery they are not included in the package. Though Canon gives warranty for only 1 year this binocular functions effectively putting an end to shaky images.

Great looking Binocular. For spectacle wearer like me this is really suitable one. Multi coating is good. The lens adds good quality and clarity in the vision. Internal focus is excellent. As I keep traveling hill stations, nice to see the moving objects too. The sight seeing people will definitely like it. I don’t feel any blurred image at all look very good quality with its lens diameter of 42 mm. it is great. Now this becomes my first piece to pack for luggage whenever I go for travel. Very useful.
